My name is John Davis and I am a guitar instructor based in the Scottsdale, Phoenix, AZ areas. I have been a full time guitar teacher for over 14 years. I offer a wide range of programs to fit the interests and needs of complete beginners to lessons for more advance guitar players with specialized needs. I have studied with some of the best guitar instructors in the world at Musicians Institute, Guitar Institute of Technology and enjoy passing that experience along to my students. I have studied and teach many styles: Rock, Blues, Metal, Modern Rock, Funk, Jazz, acoustic. I am dedicated to teaching people how to play guitar exactly the way they want to.
No cookie cutter lessons here! No matter what your current level of guitar playing, I will put together a customized lesson plan based around your goals, so that you can begin to play guitar the way that you would like. In addition, I am happy to provide students with the benefit of having professional, state of the art audio and video recording equipment at my studio. This enables me to record students and they are then able to enjoy listening to recordings of themselves playing and hear for themselves just how much they are improving.
